Tier fees are staged so commitment scales with capacity. Concessions on Open Membership are available — no one is turned away for lack of funds.

Sponsorship & Investor membership notice. Capital contributions at these tiers are community investments, not bank deposits. Your capital is at risk, returns are not guaranteed, and funds are not protected by the FSCS. Investor capital is held for a minimum of 36 months. Membership, explained.

No. Resident Membership is for those living in or joining our homes, but Supporter and Institutional memberships are open to anyone, anywhere, who believes in the mission and wants a vote on the forum.

Every contribution flows into the Collecting Project — our transparent community investment fund. Members vote on priorities, and accounts are published in full. It pays for retrofits, shared green spaces, and the open research we share with the forum.

Yes, at any time. Membership is a commitment to the community, not a contract that traps you. You can pause, change tier or step away whenever you need to.

No one is turned away for lack of funds. We offer concessions and pay-what-you-can arrangements — get in touch and we'll find something that works.

One member, one vote. Major decisions — budgets, bylaws, board elections — are made at the General Assembly, with options to vote in person or remotely so distance is never a barrier.
